Though I complain about
almost every season; I hate when the overflow of rain in the spring makes everything soggy; I hate it when it's too muggy in the summer; I can't stand the, what seems like, an eternity of cold in the winter. However, there is a silver lining in all that Michigan has to offer. I stepped outside one Saturday morning to a fresh blanket of snow. The silence of our backyard was deafening, yet calming. It was peaceful and bright, and for that very moment, I appreciated a Michigan winter for what it is: cold and blistery, but oh so beautiful.
