I have a select grouping of items that I can't live without. While that list used to be inundated with cleansers and fancy creams, those things have slowly crept to the bottom and instead replaced with favorite bottles, toys, and baby gadgets. A winner in my book are these blankets from Aden + Anais. They are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! While my little munchkin can no longer be contained in a swaddle, these blankets are great for just about everything. In the summer time, they are great as a lightweight blanket. The are wonderful for shading a stroller. For nursing moms, they are big enough to provide adequate cover, yet they won't leave you a sweaty, hot mess in the summer. But, my favorite use? Burp cloths!!! In a pinch they work great! They are soft and cuddly and, even after several washes, maintain their snugly appeal. I have to confess that I while I was off on maternity leave I even curled up with these little wonders for an afternoon summer nap! I promise, you will love them!! And if you know someone expecting, these would make a fantastic gift!!!
P.S. You can also find a great deal on these at Amazon !!!

Small things yield BIG smiles!
Aside from the little baby toes that I so adore are these ity bity leg warmers that I can't get enough of. Yes, it's summer and no it's not cold outside. So, why do I pull these on my little munchkin's legs you ask? Because the only thing that could make chubby, cherub baby legs and toes even cuter is a snazzy pair of Baby Legs!

The best things in life are free....well, almost!
For as long as I can remember, I have been obsessed with skincare. In fact, I used to lug around a basket full of skincare products with me wherever I went...just in case. I've tried everything. And by everything..I mean everything (okay, so maybe not quite everything, but I have used about a billion different products). No matter what it was, getting a new face wash made me feel like a kid on Christmas morning. And that still continues to this day. While my skincare routine has been much more simplified lately, I still take great pleasure in the amazing freshness I feel after a quick trip to the sink. My latest love? My Burt's Bee's Tomatoe Complexion Bar. It's almost completely natural, smells wonderful and well....it just looks pretty sitting on my sink. And at only $6, it's a bargain in a box. It's the simple things these days that cheer me up. And hey, a girl's gotta have her 10 minutes of peace. Mine is shared with the sink, some water and a little orange bar.
