Being green(er)

While I wouldn't say that our house is 100% green by any means, I am trying to take steps in that direction, especially when it comes to what we clean our house with. Expecting our first little one has made me pay much more attention to the chemicals contained in many of our household cleaners. In doing a little research, I've found a couple of brands that are worth trying out. While they may be a little more expensive that your average brands, the payoff is well worth it. I've only tried the EcoStore USA brand thusfar, but I'm looking to the Seventh Generation laundry soap, as well (you may have recently seen there commercials recently). Many of the EcoStore USA products can now be purchased at Meijer. Seventh Generation seems to be a bit harder to track down, though if you're a fan of Amazon.com like I am, you can purchase over the net! I'm finding, too, that many health food stores carry this brand.
